Why It’s a Gotta-Have Gadget: This simple device is great for folks who want the freedom of checking their email wherever they go, but don’t want to commit to an expensive cellular phone plan or use a complicated smartphone.
The sleek look of the Peek is appealing—our testers reported that several strangers struck up conversations with them, inquiring about the device.
Our on-the-go testers also loved that they were finally able to make good use of typically “wasted” time (long grocery lines, watching television commercials), and were able to easily check their personal email while commuting on the train to work. On average our trial users were able to go two to three days without having to recharge the battery.
