We recently got a chance to pick the brain of Chief Mother and expert reviewer Kristin Valera, of MotherProof.com, who gave us some insight into how she, and her team of reviewers, evaluate the cars they test drive. According to research that MotherProof.com received, “Women purchase 52.5 percent of new cars and influence 85 percent of all car sales.” Thus Kristin and her team understand the importance of statements and opinions they share with the MotherProof.com audience, as they may become a big part in why a mom considers a certain vehicle as her family car.
She said, “We put our test cars through the rigors of family life and all that comes with it: carpooling, running errands, family outings and the occasional date night. We test drive our cars from one to two weeks, which gives us true-to-life impressions about how these vehicles handle in the real world, not just in the 10 miles around the dealership.”
